Quantities are computed per strip from your wall geometry, pattern repeat and match type: the same arithmetic a careful installer does by hand, without the hand. Always verify measurements on site before ordering; that rule is printed on every export.

No. Enter the true wall sizes and add each opening with its position. Openings interact with strips and repeats in ways a mental discount cannot capture; the calculation removes exactly what can be removed, strip by strip.

There is a field for it: enter the height from the floor up to where the covering will stop. The wall height stays floor to ceiling, so window sills keep one zero line. Left at 0, the order simply runs a little generous, never short.

Yes. Switch Sloped walls on and give each wall a left and right height. For a peaked wall, split it into two walls at the ridge; for an attic wall that runs level and then slopes, split it where the slope begins. Strips flow across the split as if it were one wall, so the count stays exact.

The larger one. A covering that runs a touch long is trimmed on site in seconds; one that runs short is a reorder.

Three: the front face and the two returns, each measured as its own flat wall. The same goes for alcoves.

Ignore them. They are not openings; the covering runs behind or is cut around them during installation.

Centimeters, inches, or feet and inches, switchable any time. In ft-in mode type 9'6 1/2 for 9 feet 6 and a half inches; fractions display to the sixteenth.

Because walls are covered in strips, not in square feet. Real strips are cut on whole repeats, corners and openings interrupt them, and every cut carries an overage. Area calculators divide and hope; Wallsizer counts the strips one by one.

The share of the purchased material that does not end up on the wall: repeat rounding, overages, offcuts and roll leftovers, all included. It is measured against the rolls you buy, because that is what you pay for.

Open the cut sheet and count with it: every strip is listed with its length and the roll it comes from. Most quick calculators divide area and ignore the repeat, and the price of one roll too few is a reprint in a different dye lot. Wallsizer orders what actually survives the install.

Rolls are printed in batches, and color can shift slightly between batches. Order too little and the extra roll you buy later may not match the wall. That is why getting the count right the first time matters more than saving one roll.

US wallpaper is often priced per single roll but ships as double rolls. Wallsizer counts physical rolls at the length you enter: type the double-roll length and the count is double rolls.

Labels write it as two numbers, like 64/32. Free means no alignment between strips. Straight means the motif sits at the same height on every strip. Drop means every second strip shifts down half a repeat. Wallsizer speaks all three and charges an extra repeat only when the shift truly does not fit.

The material the optimizer recovered from doors and windows: strips that land fully on an opening are cut as short pieces, and short pieces are cut from leftovers of earlier rolls. You see the saving in rolls or cuts.

Yes. Enter the selvedge loss per edge in Side trim and the usable width adjusts; enter the manufacturer's overlap if the install is overlap and double-cut. Plain mode counts no-repeat goods by the linear yard.

Enter the mural slightly larger than the wall surface, then position it with the left and top margins; the right and bottom compute themselves. Coverage OK means it fits with your margins; SHORT in red tells you the largest margin that still fits.

Use Mural Standard: Wallsizer tiles whole murals side by side across the room, shows every joint, and tells you how many murals and panels to order. When the wall corner falls inside the first mural, the export prints exactly which panels to skip and where to cut.

Pattern. Enter the printed strip width and the vertical repeat of the tile: strips are printed at the exact length needed, you order square footage instead of fixed rolls, and the export includes the grouped print list for the printer.

No. The design upload is visual: it fills the drawing so you can see seams and repeats on the actual artwork. Quantities come from the numbers, always.

A PDF with the drawing, the specs, the numbered cut sheet and the layout page, or a single clean JPG for a quick reply. Every export carries the project name, the date and the reminder to verify measurements on site.

Yes. Add them once in the Export menu and every export carries your branding. Your numbers, on your paper.

The installer's script: every strip numbered in hanging order, left to right, with the roll it comes from and the order to cut it. The drawing, the totals and the cut sheet always agree.

It appears when the first strip, panel or mural overhangs the left corner because of an offset. It tells the installer exactly how much to cut from the first piece, so the whole room starts level and on plan.

The founding price is $12 per month, locked for as long as your subscription stays active, for the first 100 customers. After the founding spots are gone the price is $19 per month. One subscription, all modes, unlimited projects.

In the app: the account menu, then Manage subscription, then cancel in the billing portal. One click, no emails, no retention scripts. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.

They stay on your device; they are yours. Your exported PDFs keep working forever. Subscribe again and the app opens right where you left it.

On your device. Projects autosave locally in your browser; uploaded images stay local too. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.

Not yet: a project lives on the device where you drew it, which is also why nothing about your clients ever leaves that device. Your login works on every device, and the PDF carries all the numbers in the meantime. Automatic sync is on the roadmap.

Yes, in the strongest way possible: it never leaves your device. Wallsizer's servers check your subscription, not your projects.

Projects are stored in the browser, so clearing site data deletes them. Export the PDF for any project you need to keep; the PDF is the permanent record.
